"this album is a collection of poppy melodies and strange and bouncy lyrics. I was told when I bought this album that co-producer Mick Ronson also did a lot of work with David Bowie. This album is both reminicent of poppy Sex Gang Children, yet Andi solo has a flavour all it's own. The album goes into tunes that could easily be mistaken for traditional French piano tunes or something from a caberet act. The more pop-rock influenced tracks are perky and centered around Andi's unique voice. He also includes a soulful cover of Sex Gang Children's "Power Waits"."

"Leave it to Andi Sex Gang to do something different. Arco Valley is loud, upbeat, and fun. As always, Andi's lyrics tell a somewhat different story. Unsurprisingly, Andi worked closely on this one with Mick Ronson, the famous glam guitarist who played on and helped arrange such classic albums as David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars and Lou Reed's Transformer. Ronson's touches are obvious throughout. The music sounds a little rockabilly, a little glam, and a little 1980's. If you're just getting into Sex Gang Children/Andi Sex Gang, pick up Last of England first. Save Arco Valley for your third or fourth purchase."
