Her harp and guitar playing are equally accomplished and innovative, and her lyrics are filled with lovely complex prose. Her voice and style most reminds me of June Tabor, but not as serious or stark. I bought the CD for her fabulous rendition of Endless Song (How Can I Keep From Singing) which was featured on NPR. This simple Shaker Hymn was one of my mom's favorites and it was the theme of her memorial service, but somehow, Ariane's completely original version becomes a reprise to the life of anyone who lives and loves music. I highly recommend this Wisconsin musician who deserves a national audience."
