"Kudos to Ms. Starr. Her music is thoroughly enjoyable musically as well as lyrically. Most Native artist I've listened to seem to focus on the spiritual aspects of long ago. Ms. Starr acknowledges that spirit but she also acknowledges that Indian people live in the present as well. She manages to put a modern face on the subject with contemporary rhythm and chord structure, pure pop!!!"
Refreshing Suprise

"In a land of Sugar Ray wannabes Meet the Diva is a welcome change. Arigon Starr's commitment to Native American issues, reflected in her lyrics, brings a new perspective to pop music. Plus she keeps a sense of humor through it all. Put it all to a driving pop beat and you have a diverse album that will be enjoyed by all"
I liked it all

"There are lots of different sounds on this album and I enjoyed them all -- from the heavy "Troubled Man" to the quiet "Tattered Tipi Of Chief Seattle" and the jangly guitars of "Eugene Tooms Is Dead." Arigon's music exposed me to a slice of life (contemporary Native America) that I didn't even know existed. Lots of fun, good music, great songs -- just right for Summer."
