CD ReviewsPerfectly orchestrated album Higgs | Motown, WV USA | 05/21/2003 (4 out of 5 stars) "This double album was definitely worth the price. The first album has some beautiful melodies. The first track is a good one to start out with. The second track is the beautiful melodic Way OUt West-Mindcircus. From there, tracks 4 and 6 get me flowing with their progressive trance feel to them. The last track is a remix from AVB himself which could easily be a club anthem. Very uplifting. This first album is the more melodic and chilled of the two. But still very good. The second album is very trancey. You could easily find a lot of these tracks in dance clubs. the first track is very dark and trancey. My favorite Is track 5 Body Shock-Mars-Plastic. Very powerful and could get anyone on the dance floor. From there you could have one big dance party to the end of this second album. I would recommend this to anyone who loves non-cheesy trance and likes the best of both worlds (chill and dance). I would not recommend this to the first-time listener." Still amazes me! Brett Long | Milwaukee, WI United States | 11/28/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Where do I begin? In my opinion, Armin Van Buuren may very well be the best trance dj out there these days. I believe this is his best effort yet. Certainly better than his latest disc, 76. Yeah, I realize I'm writing this review a year and a half after the release of Transparance, but that's how good it is. I have not gotten tired of it after constant play for over a year. I am more of a fan of melodic, euphoric trace, so disc one is my favorite. I can't help but get lost in the songs "Into the Sun" and "Spacelover" which are mixed flawlessley, back to back. Start to finish, this CD is hard to top. CD2 is also fantastic, a bit harder than 1, but nearly as good as disc 1. If you're a fan of AVB, you better have this CD set. If you aren't familiar with him, you must get it. I would rate this CD #2 in my all time trance favorites, right behind Oakenfold's Tranceport. Yeah, it's that good." SERIOUS SET OF TRACKS PETITDEMANGE CEDRIC | VOSGES FRANCE | 02/24/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm a good trance fan and have got cds by ferry corsten, paul oakenfold, god tiesto, blank and jones, way out west, delerium, conjure one...and 76 from armin .I've just bought this because of some beautiful tracks i already knew(mindcircus, too late to turn);Ifound it incredible , particularly disc 1 that I placed just behind tiesto's in search of sunrise 2 and ferry's global trancemissions 2.VERY GOOD STUFF"
