"I've been listening to Armin for years and years and this album is definitely his best in a long time. I absolutely loved ASOT 2007. The first CD (On the Beach) was one of the best summer compilations anyone has ever produced. After that 2008 was decent, but as a whole it was lacking the careful ordering and selection from the year prior. 2009 had a better track selection than 2008 (especially CD2), but the composition was even worse on CD1. He seemed to be able to get one CD or the other decent, but never get back to the mix quality that once was there.



Armin's finally back in the game with 2010 though. While the first CD is still no where near as good as 2007, it's significantly better than both 2008 and 2009 combined. The selection and ordering has improved tremendously on CD1 and he returns to a nicer upbeat summer feel that was missing the past two years. CD2 is similarly well done and has a great nighttime feel.



If you were skeptical of this year after hearing the last two years, don't be. 2010 is a keeper."
