"One of the best groups of the 80's if not the most unreconized and unheard of act's.Sadly this group disbanded shortly after their guitarist Dave Prichard passed away from Leukemia at a very young age. This is their second studio album and has a very crunchy and tight sound. The title track is great as well as long before i die,In the hole, over the edge and aftermath. If you like metal give this band a try. you wont be dissapointed. No joke, Dont listen to your friends who only listen to mainstream/billboard metal/rock.Give The saint a try. P.S. These boy's in concert could blow any band off the stage. The music will live on."
An overlooked classic

"So what exactly makes a great Metal album? Is it complexity and intensity of "Master of Puppets", the sheer brutality of Slayer's "Reign in Blood", or the bump and grind of Aerosmith's "Rocks"? Whatever the secret is, Armored Saint found that magic combination and then some with their masterpiece, "Delirious Nomad". From the opening riff of "Long Before I Die" to John Bush's laugh towards the end of "Released", this is one of those albums that has all of the essentials to make a classic: incredible songs, soaring guitar work by the late Dave Prichard, a rock solid rhythm section, and one of the best lead singers ever in John Bush. Without a doubt, it is one of those albums for the ages."

"I musy say that listening to this great metal record harkens me back to when I got to see Armored Saint Live. The first time was with Metallica and WASP. Then another time (gulp) with Styper. Never really got why they wanted to tour with them other than a large crowd. BUT>>the tour I wish they had made a DVD of was the tour with Helloween. If anyone knows how to get a good copy of this concert which was broadcast live on MTV's original Headbangers Ball let me know. Email me at c_robleski@hotmail.com"
4.4 Saints Best

"This was their best CD and now is tough to find. Great tracks like 'Long Before I Die', 'Over The Edge' and 'Your Never Alone' amongst others.
There are no throw outs. A very consistant listen for a band who never really had much of an idenity, just a lot of really good songs.
I would also recommend 'Raising Fear' and their debut 'March Of The Saint' if anyone cares anymore.."
