"... as I write and look for other versions -- the Simpson arrangement for string quartet, for example, and the Muchinger recording of the orchestral version (which I have on open reel and cassette-copy-from-OR, and which I love). But this takes pride of place. I always return to this recording; I expect I always will. I learned to love the music through this recording, and so I look for other voices, other points of view, to enrich, not to replace."

"And I don't know what to add to that. So seek out this CD and enjoy. Highly recommended."
The Harpsichord doesn't make justice to the Harpsichordist.

"None other than one of the most famous baroque harpsichordist, who's was the master to many players, including Scott Ross, is playing a delightful version of Bach's "The Art of Fugue". Gustav Leonhardt really makes it interesting to listening to Classical music : you don't have to be a classical music fan to love this one. I was listening to this one every night before going to sleep when I was a child. You *have* to try it out."
