"I have fond memories of watching Charlie Brown's Christmas Special with my parents and now I will soon give my children similar memories with Arthur's Perfect Christmas. This is a great album full of catchy tunes that young and not-so-young can enjoy for years to come. I have always felt that Arthur's show on PBS provides the best posible messages and themes for my children, and the christmas album is no different. This is one for the ages!"
Ok, I'll admit it...

"I LOVE this CD--and so does my husband (AND our 5-year-old...)First of all, the voice of Arthur IS the same voice... Michael Yarmush had finally begun his voice change by the time this CD came out... and I think the actor was 20 or 21 at the time... DW had been replaced a season or two earlier when her voice actor (also named Michael, but I can't remember his last name) entered middle school and began maturing. I believe the voice of DW on the CD is done by her same current voice actor on television... which would be Oliver Grainger. You know, with kids' shows, in which real kids are used for at least some of the voices, you're going to get the occasional natural changing of voices that would necessitate changes with the actors. That said, I LOVE the CD... the "fractured" carols that everybody is complaining about we find to be hysterically funny... and the others are musically interesting--jazzy and fresh. And the album is Cross-Cultural, which we appreciate very much in today's world.I would recommend this CD to anyone--whether they have kids or not. Very entertaining."
My 3-year-old loves it!

"My 3-year-old daughter absolutely loves Arthur and loves this CD. Okay, so the songs don't necessarily use "traditional" lyrics. We don't mind! It's great! And by the way, some of the customer reviews mention that there is a different voice for Arthur. Not so. The credits clearly say Arthur's voice is played by Michael Yarmush who is the original Arthur. He's just a few years older now and his voice has matured a bit. He's still the same Arthur. Our whole family likes this CD. Buy it!"
A Holiday album for weird tastes, and Arthur Fans.

"First of All it was Fern(the girl with a dog head) Singing "Silent Night" as a Punk rock song, So "Generation O"-ish. The holiday tunes range from jazz, pop, and a Few Parodies from D.W.. If you saw the special and want to hear more music from and not from it, this cd is for you. Happy Holidays!"
I loved it!

"i got this from the library and i loved it. im a 12 year old girl and i know that people will think that arthur is a kiddie show just cos they present it on cbs kids. but arthur is not a kiddie show. there are a lot of song in this cd (1-2 mins) so its hard to say what songs i like better. one of my fav is "what's the use of presents?" by muffy."
