"This six song EP entitled "Birthplace and Burrial Site" by As Hope Dies is simply a masterpiece. Every song is insanely brutal, yet is always melodic at the same time. The screams of the singer sends chills down my spine. From a musical standpoint, I would have to say As Hope Dies is the most talented band I have heard. It is a shame they broke up. I wouldnt know how to classify the genre this band belongs in because I have never heard any band like them. They have been compared to At the Gates by some, but even that isnt accurate. If you like brutal melodic music you should definitely pick this up (however you wont find this at your local Sam Goody)."
