"Swing Time is a good compilation of some of the best songs from three other albums: 10, Western Standard Time, and their out-of-print 1974 Epic self-titled album. It's hard for an individual to put together a representative "best of" collection for a group like Asleep At The Wheel because they've jumped around from one label to the next, and the labels certainly wouldn't want to cooperate with each other. This is a good pick to represent the best of their work for Sony/Epic, if you don't want to collect all their recordings."

"My husband brought this cd home and I was skeptical! Once he played it, the family fell in love singing the lyrics together. My parents came to visit and enjoyed it so much I gave them our only copy. Ever since the family has bugged me to buy another copy and that's why I am on-line today!"
Great country swing-& some honky-tonk

"Some good stuff (especially "House of Blue Lights"), but there are better covers of "San Antonio Rose", "Walkin' the Floor Over You", and especially "Hot Rod Lincoln" (by Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen ,almost as good as the original) out there."
