"This sounds like it could have been released in 1985! So, Aura Noir hasn't really changed much since their inception, but then again, when you play retro thrash and pay tribute to your idols, how much room for progression can there really be? Doesn't really matter, though, for these guys seem to be having lots of fan playing this style of music. Plus, the music isn't bad at all. Do you like loud guitars with riffs you'd swear you have heard on a Destruction or Kreator '80s record, along with precise drumming that follows a simple 4/4 formula, with the occasional well-placed roll, and throaty vocals that demand your attention as hymns about Metal and Satan are shouted? Not to
mention this is seriously 100% head banging. So get the beers out, play this record loud and forget about everything else. Metal rules, indeed.
