Debut EP from Los Angeles-based songsmith Jacob Dillan Summers, who records lush baroque pop and shimmering psychedelia under the name Avid Dancer.
Following on the heels of the 2013 single, 'Stop Playing With My Heart,' the I Want To See You Dance EP features an array of 60s-indebted nuggets, propulsive pop music, and hushed acoustics across its four songs.
The short-player precedes an LP (due in 2015), and coincides with the creation of a full band, featuring members of Hanni El Khatib.
'Bright vocals, swirling guitars, and buzzing keys evoke the psychedelic sound of Tame Impala, through somehow sent back to the '60s so all that soulful loveliness can rattle around in the heyday a bit.' - Spin
