Album DescriptionAzucena del Campo was already a rising star when in 2005 she landed a part on the hit television show "Objetivo Fama," where she walked away with a respectable 2nd place showing. This was no small feat considering the competition and the pressure of being on a highly-rated nationally televised talent competition. She would later record a "banda" version of "Me Muero," -- already a hit song covered by another Latin artist -- and one that would become a huge call-in request at Regional Mexican format radio stations nationwide. It would also become one of her most requested songs at concerts opening for the likes of superstars Paquita la del Barrio and Ezequiel Peña. In 2007 Azucena del Campo takes the next big step in a promising career by signing with Machete Regional Music and recording her debut album with the label. The album features the hit singles "Me Muero," "Como Yo Nadie Te Ha Amado," Azucena's incomparable interpretation of the Bon Jovi classic, "Gaviota," a song that has now been immortalized on the hit Spanish-language telenovela Destilando Amor, and many more! "Azucena": in stores and online on July 31st.
