"I'm 16, and i live here in Jersey and go to as many ska shows as i possibly can. I was told about Bigger Thomas by some people, but had never actually heard them until September, on a Stubborn Records sampler i got in the mail. They're amazing. I made the hour-long drive last month to go down to Bordentown(just outside of Trenton) to see them(along with the Hub City Stompers), and it was the best time i'd had in a while. Once you see Bigger Thomas live, you understand completely how they've made it 17 years and counting. Not to mention, they're really cool people too. It's wierd how many kids who listen to ska around here have never even heard of them. They've been playing ska for longer than I've been alive, yet even the lead singer was telling me that they've been trying to get their music out there to the kids in the scene, because they're relatively unknown amongst the new ska kids. I have all three of their albums, and this is hands down the best one. Ska In My Pocket is an NJ Ska anthem for a reason. Also, this cd has a DVD of great old live footage. So, buy this album, and while you're at it, buy Resisting Success which is great as well. And then if you still need more Bigger Thomas, go out and find We Wear The Mask, they're newest release. It's on Megalith Records, and amazon doesn't carry Megalith releases, so you'll have to go out and find that on your own, but it's worth the effort."
