"A Bird Named Yesterday is a concept album containing songs that bring back memories of the past. Just about everyone will be able to relate to these songs that are sung in story fashion by a singer who, in my opinion, has no eqaual in this field. There is no best or worst song in this collection. All relate to some or other event of the past and will jog your memory no matter what your culture or background may be. It is a true magic carpet ride that will touch the hearts of everyone."
First & Best Compilation album

"Undoubtedly the first and the best concept album I have ever come across. It was finally re-released after much demand for it. The very nostalgic story songs suit Bobby Bare laid back voice and style 100%. Makes you want to hear the songs over and over again. The tunes are all very easy to like and to sing-along to.
The chorus by veteran chorus group Anita Singers really add quality to the songs.
It is truly a magnificent album.
All the songs are excellent and each telling of a different favourite past such as the "Old Swimming Hole", "The Old Home Town", and "I've Got a Thing about Train". "The Old Gang's Gone" and "Air Conditional Song" are my two favourite in this CD full of memories.
Buy it and you shall not be disappointed. It will just grow on you. The more you listen to it, the more you will want to hear it over and over again. That I can guarantee you!"
