"Finding a good recording of a Silbermann organ is always a treat. Finding TWO such recordings, at a bargain basement price, is nothing less than a stroke of extreme good luck. Rübsam plays the large Silbermann instrument in Freiberg Cathdral, one of builder's chefs-d'oeuvre. Since the recording is of chorale-based works, the tonal resources of the organ get trotted out in full array, including its curiously rapid and shallow tremolo, similar to that of some other historic organs in the Saxon and North German regions (for example, the Stellwagen organ in the Marienkirche, Stralsund). Rübsam's playing is excellent -- imaginative, well articulated, spacious. It matters not whether you're after a good Silbermann recording for your collection or simply a recording of the Clavierübung, you can't go wrong with the Rübsam/Freiberg combo."
