Lovely Bach Partita

"I have not heard the remainder of this recital/this CD, but the Bach Partita No. 2 BWV 826 is obviously the same August 15, 1972, performance Orfeo included on the CD "Bach-Beispiele" (which incidentally contains the greatest interpretation of Bach's Keyboard Concerto No. 1 BWV 1052 I have ever heard, Glenn Gould's with Mitropoulos and the Concertgebouw Orkest Amsterdam, also in Salzburg, August 10, 1958), and it's wonderful! Now that it is available, I'm certainly tempted to hear this recital in full, especially given the fact that Anda's 1955 studio Carnaval (EMI, available on Testament) is one of the finest (most imaginative, wittiest - you name it) of all time.

Sound quality (an Austrian National Broadcasting Company, that is ORF, recording) is very good stereo, by the way, with very little master tape noise.
