"One of the most powerful pieces (together with Mozart's Requiem)of music I have ever listen to. The obvious limitations of the technology at the time of recording only makes me wish I had been able to hear the live performance.
I have listen to other interpretations of the Matheus Passion with superior recording quality but I always prefered this one. A true jewel in my collection."
