Album DescriptionThis is a unique release with a new twist from Primary Logic. A classical CD arranged and engineered for infants and preschoolers and unlike anything else available anywhere. They call the concept Comparative Listening Here's how it works. The A-SIDE (37:14) consists of 21 selections from Anna Magdalena's Notebooks I & II, written and compiled by the master himself, in part for his own children's exploration of the harmonic system. Each piece is arranged for pizzicato viols and chorus in an up-tempo fashion with energy and quickness of character for active play. The B-SIDE (36:14) consists of the SAME 21 selections arranged for a warm rounded bell tone and more ethereal chorus in a slower tempo as lullabies for quiet time. When your child can properly match one up-tempo "piece" from SIDE-A with it's unique character, to its slow-tempo counterpart from SIDE-B with its different character, an enormous cognitive leap will have been made and a blueprint drawn for an expandable logical neural matrix on which ideas may be built and problems may be solved. All music for children should be played at lower volume and to protect delicate ears this recording has been engineered with a slight bias to the higher frequencies with pronounced bass separation for a more natural sound at lower levels. As every parent knows little ones love repetition. They need to make it their own. For adults most music for children can quickly become unbearable even in short bursts. Primary Logic( has provided a charming and gentle listening experience designed to stimulate new minds (and old), promote emotional stability and encourage vocalization without driving parents from the room. BRAVO!!
