Yeah, well, you NEED this one, too

"So, you already own all their studio albums? Wow, even "Demos to Demons"? OK, how about "Diesel and Power"? WOW; that too, huh? Well, too bad, 'cause this is ESSENTIAL.
Aw, c'mon! It's just a live album! How good can it be?
Well, I thought the same thing and GEEZ, Dregen's guitar work is other-wordly ("Minus Celsius"!!!), the vocal banter from Nicke during and between songs is just wonderful. The sound quality is better than many studio albums from many other bands. They CLEARLY made an extra-special effort on this performance. Why they aren't headlining tours everywhere is beyond my comprehension.
On a personal point, "One Sound" is the only song of theirs that I routinely skip over when listening to the studio version. The LIVE version here is SOOOO much better. And, how in the world does one make "Made Me a Madman" sound better than it already does on "Total 13"?
I've heard that a release of this combined with "Tinnitus" is also out already (it's October 2005 and I haven't seen it). Whatever it takes, if you like these guys you MUST get this recording!
Just discovering the Backyard Babies? "Total 13" really is their best introduction. You MUST get "Stockholm Syndrome" and ought to get "Making Enemies is Good". But, if you're really REALLY unsure, this would indeed be a great 1st exposure to a truly amazing band."
