Synopsis

Product Description
Eat Drugs ventures into slightly more accessible territory without losing the teeth and muscle of their self-titled 2006 debut. Songs like the opener Mjölner and Secret Protector are aggressive math rock instrumentals true to the spirit of their previous output, and are sure to win over fans of bands like Battles or The F*cking Champs. Heterosaucer heads into psych-pop territory, while the angular hooks of Suez (a song about Jaws) flirt with the smart punk template laid out by bands like Mission of Burma and the Buzzcocks. The anthemic title track Eat Drug is classic rock taken to a neo-futuristic level, with its relentless drums, hot wiry guitar riffs and sing along verses. Bad Dudes will surprise you every time you see them, most likely at The Smell, where they can very often be seen and heard sharing the floor with locals The Mae Shi, No Age, Abe Vigoda, HEALTH, Bipolar Bear and many others. Keeping it all in the extended family, Eat Drugs features appearances by members of Ozma, Upsilon Acrux, Silver Daggers, and Epsilons. An Eat Drugs remix by The Mae Shi is forthcoming.
