"I can't fault Joey Molland for doing this. Despite Badfinger's troubled history and the bad blood between Molland and Mike Gibbins, he's continuing to spread the word about his former band in performances and recordings. That doesn't mean you should buy this CD. These are re-recordings of classic Badfinger tracks. When Joey Molland had originally done these many of these tracks weren't available in any format after Apple Records folded amid multiple lawsuits.Even if you're a fan of Molland's solo work (and his latest album is very good indeed), this is less than essential. Since Straight Up, No Dice, Magic Christian and The Very Best of Badfinger are all available on CD, this is hardly the place to start collecting or listening to Badfinger. There are a number of important Badfinger recordings that have yet to see the light of day (Sing for the Song) and many that have gone out of print ... . If you're a fan write Capitol, Apple and Emi letting them know that you'd like to see these recordings available. What's needed is a comphrensive boxed set. Perhaps a company like NotLame Records could put together something since Capitol/Apple/Emi don't seem so inclinded."
This is NOT Badfinger!

"This is certainly not Badfinger. Joey Molland gives versions of the hits and a few of his own Badfinger songs. None of these versions come anywhere near the originals in quality. It's really hard to say much positive about these recordings. Buy the original albums instead!!"
