"Maybe the best work of Badi Assad, Rhythms is music for those who like well-made experiences. Along with her melodious voice (in songs such "a primeira vista"), you can hear the simple and beautiful chorinho and great percussion. An excellent choice when you know Brazilian music is not only bossa nova. Uakti fans should love it."

"This girl can really play!! She's got loads of technique, and lots of soul. She effectively blurs the lines between contemporary classical composition and brazilian pop. Although she is primarily a guitarist, the vocal work on this album is also very nice. Get the disk!!"

"The simple solo/duet arrangements give an open, honest, and intimate feel to all of the songs within the album. This has to be the best album from Badi to-date. The lack of ANY studio-type effects allows the beauty of the performance, instruments, and the material to remind the listener that true art can thrive in the modern world."
