"This is certainly a band, that could have deserved a lot more recognition, then and now. Mixing progressive rock, blues, jazzrock they made some timeless, adventurous and intriguing music.
Not only very strong instrumentally: drumlegend Ginger Baker and his elegant polyrythms, the fine fusionbased keyboardplayer Peter Lemer, Paul Gurvitz with some rocksolid and inventive bass, and his brother Adrian, a really versatile guitarist. But Adrian Gurvitz also wrote some very strong compositions, fine and catchy with intelligent lyrics. Delivered with three-way harmonies by the Gurvitz brothers and lead singer Mr. Snips.
Here they are caught live on an auspicious night, where everything fits perfectly. Great jams, great interplay, magic in the air. In front of an enthusiastic audience.
And they sure must have had some wizards behind the mixing deck, cause - just as on their brilliant "Live In Derby '75" - the soundquality is downright awesome."
