"Beautiful packaging and liner notes detailing the arrival of Bob Crewe & Charles Fox's soundtrack to the 1968 cult hit "Barbarella", a French-Italian co-production that featured Jane Fonda as an Astral-Navigatrix whose speciality is L-O-V-E. The happy-'60's soundtrack (with vocals by both Crewe and a group named The Glitterhouse) has become scarce and expensive in the last ten years, so this release is quite wonderful to own, especially when augumented by a handful of bonus tracks (from an instrumental album of "Barbarella" songs by The Young Lovers) and radio promo spots. I would've used a different picture of Jane for the inner-sleeve poster, and there are some typos in the notes, but otherwise this is grooovy stuffff! A-"

"I bought this soundtrack here a while ago and I listened to the CD one night even though I haven't seen the film. It is great. It may sound outrageous but it's just your ordinary movie soundtrack. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't play the full version of the main title song. One song that struck me the most was "The Black Queen's Beads" because it sounded like the DelMar's 1961 instrumental hit "Last Night." I also like the tracks by The Young Lovers while the radio ads for the movie are a true classic (too bad the other record companies can't do this on their soundtracks). If you're a fan of Jane Fonda (for her movies and not her actions) this is a must. You won't regret it!"

"Great music from a well scored sci fi movie, and a few bonus tracks too."
