"This is an interesting CD of Baroque favourites. The opening number, the Pachelbel Canon, receives just an average treatment by Leppard... too subjective for my taste. The Ormandy treatment of Bach (Little Suite) is beautifully done. with that sumptuous Ormandy sound. The Biggs-Groves collaboration on the Handel is very effective. But the real beauty of this CD lies with the Corelli Suite for Strings. It is too beautiful for words. Again, the Ormandy sound. Excellent."
