'It doesn't break my heart to see you cry......'

(5 out of 5 stars)
"From the first riff of the euphoric 'I can't pretend' to last shout's of " I wish it could be 1965 again' this undoubtably is one of the best slabs of vinyl ever to grace your turntable or CD player (if your priveledged enough).
This is 'the' quintessential garage/punk/surf album ever recorded. No clunkers at all (mabye the drug addict paean - "codeine") other that that, all these tunes rock with reckless abandon and sheer delight.
Standout tracks include 'Don't let go, Violent Times and California Lament (how prophetic!)
Hard to beleive their from England, huh? Sound like SoCal fromt he late 70's.
Anyway, all their releases are essential, they have three proper albums and a comeback one from the early 90's.
This is by far their best.
This is a top five album of all time.
Be glad you discovered it.
