"
This 1969 album has Mike Bloomfield, Duane Allman and Harvey Mandel sitting in on different tracks (but, unfortunately, not with each other). The album is worth the price alone for the +ten-minute "Blues For Barry And..." with Bloomfield wailing away.
This CD is long OOP, due to the demise of One Way Records, but you can also obtain these tracks on Barry Goldberg & Friends, except for "Spirit Of Trane" with Mandel.
However, that track appears on the Raven's excellent expanded and remastered edition of Mandel's Cristo Redentor.
Goldberg & Friends is also OOP, but at any point in time, may be cheaper than the prices being asked for this CD. Plus, it also has all the Goldberg "Reunion" album tracks.
Contractual reasons prevented the use of at least Bloomfield's name on the original LP, so it flew under the radar both upon its release, and in the decades since, which is just a damn shame."
