Offered here are two piano concertos by Isidor Achron, never before recorded, performed by Barry Goldsmith, a work by Lazar Saminsky, titled, "The Vow," intended for piano and orchestra, but never completed, then discovered by Barry Goldsmith in a two piano version with sketching including orchestral orchestration. Here it has been completely orchestrated for piano and orchestra and offered as a newly discovered work. The third composer is Ernest Bloch. His composition, "Helvetia, A Land of Mountains and its Peoples," is one of his least known works and has rarely been heard outside of Switzerland. It is the last major work by this Swiss-Ameri
