"This mix CD is awesome, even better than Barry's Thunderpuss partner Chris Cox's "New York Anthems" mix CD released late last year. Barry picks 11 truly BLAZIN' progressive house anthems that start out with hard-bangin' beats and doesn't let up till the end! Barry especially shows his brilliance on Track 2, "You're The Worst Thing For Me" by Pusaka Presents Thea Austin. He mixes the main vocal mix of the song (the Chris Cox & DJ Irene Club Anthem) and the dub (the He Dubbed Me Wrong mix) together to make a 12:02 long mix that truly kicks {butt}! "The Worst Thing" is one of my 2 favorite tracks on this CD, along with "... Me Harder" by Harris & Cox (a.k.a. Thunderpuss). I heard a sample of this track at the end of last year at the old Thunderpuss website (...), and I've been waiting for months for a commercial CD release. It's about time! The track is an awesome instrumental house groove that isn't quite as impressive as Thunderpuss's other big club hit "Papa's Got A Brand New Pigbag," but is sure as hell comes close! The Pusaka and Harris & Cox tracks alone are worth buying the CD for, but the rest is killer too. The only disappointment is on track 4, "Do It Again" by Razor & Guido. It's a great song, but unfortunately Barry decided not to use any of the vocals. That's the only flaw, though, in an impressive house mix CD with all super-high quality songs. Barry is still DA MAN!"

Harris gets hard for us...

"Barry Harris gets right to it with slammin hardhouse diva anthems from Ralphi Rosario, the fierce Pusaka, and Donica. We get the overplayed "Do It Again," thankfully for just a brief time, and then get moving into Escape's bangin' diva track Music Takes Me Higher. Another mix of "Bang the Drum" was on Circuit Sessions 6, so I could have done without it here. The second half of the disc gets mostly instrumental, but Harris knows how to select instrumental floor stompers that keep the party pumpin. One of the best volumes in the series. Track times:
