Sit back & unwind

"Manilow refuses to do the obvious Christmas album, but instead scales down and produces an album for those long winter nights that you cuddle up to the fire with. Christmas carols set the scene and fade towards Manilow's own compositions. Silent Night eases gently to the opening guitar riffs of the Manilow/Mercer song `I guess there ain't no Santo clause'. The Fist Noel into the achingly beautiful `When the meadow was blooming' and the Carol of the bells into the impeccably arranged `The Bells of Christmas'. Theirs also a great duet with K.T. Oslin, the brilliant Frank Loesser song `Baby, its Cold Outside'. The Bing Crosby/Andrew Sisters inspired `Jingle Bells' performed with Expose, great harmonies. The uplifting `It's just another New Years Eve' and brilliant renditions of `White Christmas' and `The Christmas Song'.SUPERB."

"Ahhh, yes!! I really love this Christmas album. The songs are simply great but of course, I have always loved the "Baby, It's Cold Outside" song especially when Barry does the duet with Debra Byrd. The first time I ever saw them do the duet for this song was from the A&E:"Live by Request" tv special and I remember how cute & funny they both were when singing this song. The cover picture for this album looks very romantic, christmasy, & the fireplace in the background makes me wanna cook some marshmallows & sip on some hot cocoa!
Merry Christmas!"
