"First let me say this, Bro. Oswald at the time of this recording was in his 80's, so please be aware that his voice isn't in the tip top shape it was when he was younger. This Cd has a few hidden gems. George Jones on "The Precious Jewel" is priceless. And the other is Grandpa Jones on "Mountain Dew." The whole cd is a tremoundous gem in itself. And another added bonus, Oswald does his famous high harmony on most of these songs. Even though his voice is quite rough on the solo material, his harmonies sound just as they did when he backed Roy Acuff in the 1930's."
