CD ReviewsIt jams rodney rainey | louisville ky usa | 01/07/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "i bought jubileum 3 (a bathory compilation) at a flea market after hearing the first track "33 something" i had never hrard bathory.after hearing the whole thing i was a little disappointed w/ most the songs , except for the tracks off requiem & octagon . since then i've bought these two albums & octagon is my favorite of the two . its raw & sloppy like like fresh clevered flesh topped off w/ a sleazy sounding cover of kisses deuce . this is not a band trying to sound like pantera or anyone else ,least not on this album." Fully rebel. This is Bathory in thrash mode. Electro-Industrial madness | where else, infront of PC | 08/19/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is the only Bathory album with such a rebel filled sound. It kinda sounds like slowed down thrash. I had this album many years ago and then sold it because I didn't like it. But recently I remembered how different this album sounds from their other albums and I decided to pick it up once again. And I'm glad I did because it is a really great thrash/black metal album. Listen to it when you're drunk, it's the best.
Quorthon you rebel." |
