"I was blindly mailed this CD to write about for some distantly ridiculous publication. It's the only thing from back then which I still have, and still play. There's passionate humility, so I think of Nirvana and those types; and there's melodic strums, so I think of Athens GA in the early eighties. But most crucially there's also this impression of youth screaming out their reckless lungs, determined to seize some moment. I always feel fortunate that I opened my mail that day and found Vitreous Humor."
