Album Description

Bedlam (originally known as Beast when it formed in 1972) was a British hard rock band featuring singer Frank Aiello (from Truth), guitarist Dave Ball (from Procol Harum), bassist Dennis Ball (formerly with Long John Baldry), and drummer Cozy Powell (formerly with Jeff Beck). They made one self-titled album produced by Felix Pappalardi (producer of Cream, member of Mountain) in 1973, before breaking up in 1974 This repressing comes in 5x7 digipak and is limited to a quantity of 500. Zoom Club. 2005.

"Just fished this out of a used budget record bin. Decent 70s hard rock with Cozy Powell, who does excellent drum work here. Songs are composed well, beyond freeze-dried hard rock moves. The vocals are a little over the top-think David Coverdale at his worst-but the music is powerful.

A good time capsule and a good listen for the music alone. Worth a listen.
