Echoes of Paris

"This time Beegie presents a full scope of french tunes known on the world over. It looks, that it is the first time since George Feyer
recorded on the piano his famous "Echoes of Paris" some time in mid-fifties. For all enthusiasts of french popular music this disc is a marvel. However, for lovers of Beegie's pianistics there is not enough of her there. Her piano is muffled by violin and
some accordion, which perfectly fits and creates a true french atmosphere, but leaves her brilliant pianistics in the background,
with not enough room for her improvisations.

"This is a lovely and unique CD from Beegie Adair. It definitely evokes beautiful moods of Paris. The violin accompaniment on La Vie En Rose and Where is Your Heart adds a perfect French flavor, and the accordian on C'est Magnifique takes you to a sidewalk cafe with strolling musicians. If you like Beegie Adair and you like Paris, you'll love this CD! I often play it softly in the background while sitting on my balcony with a good book and coffee."
