"This opera recording of Beethoven's second version of Fidelio,is pretty good. The Overture as well as the singing is done verywell. The dialog is not there though. I warn you, that the music within this recording is very different from first version of Fidelio! The music is beautiful and heart-wrenching. The orchestra is very good; as if taking all of Beethoven's punishment. But the orchestra is in the pitch of C sharp which means the overture, and the aria of Marzillene, is in C sharp. I would rate this as a number four out of the Leonore recordings out there. END"
