"This CD delivers excellent value for the price. The quality of the recording is much better than that found on many CD's carrying twice the price. The performance itself is most enjoyable; this reviewer found the 3rd movement of the 4th Symphony to be especially memorable.This recording filled a gap in my basic Beethoven collection quite nicely. I recommend it highly."

"The name Alfred Scholz has been or classical records for over thirty years but the name is phony. Somebody else conducted these excellent performances. Whoever that is really hit the mark. These performances have passion, vitality and great playing."
