"I've been a Bella Morte fan for a few years now, and with each release they grow more and more. while Where Shadows Lie was more goth rock, and The Quiet was more of an experiment with many different genres, As the Reasons Die seems to take all of the different styles they do so well and give them more of a cohesive flow. They've always been good at branching out and experimenting without compromising their sound. album of the year so far :) Highlights include: Awake (this had better be a club hit), Forever Grey, Many Miles, Undone, and If Tonight."
Awesome!

"Bella Morte managed to evolve and change directions (several times in the same album, it seems) and yet maintain their own distinctive sound.
This album is a dynamic blend of rock, punk and "synth-y goth" songs with a few melodic numbers thrown in there. One thing they most certainly are not is boring.
Beautiful, clean, emotional vocals, strong lyrics and rocking guitars....and much like their live performances, this CD exudes some kind of energy all its own! I definitely reccommend it!"
Definitely Worth Picking Up

"This is a very good CD, though different from eariler work. This album has a heavier industrial sound than their previous work, and it has some rockers on it like "Forever Grey" it doesn't have any real straight up death rocks, but those were probably all saved for the upcoming "Songs for the Dead" EP. One of the songs that really stands out on here is "Awake" which is a very harsh sounding electronic song. Very experimental for Bella Morte but ended up working. I gave this album 4 stars because while no songs on here are bad I did not like it as much as "The Quiet." So while I think some of their earlier work was superior to this, this is still a really good CD and worth checking out."
Another great album from Bella Morte

"I have to admit I have only recently gotten into Bella Morte. I bought their last album "Quiet" out of sheer curiousity. I immediately fell in love with the band's brand of punk, goth, and synth-pop music. I finally got around to buying their new album "As Reasons Die". Imust admit this was one album that required a few more listenings before I would submit a review of the album. On the initial listen, I wasn't really blown away by what I heard. "Beneath" and "Undone" didn't really do much for me. The songs on "As Reasons Die" weren't nearly as catchy as what I heard on "Quiet". Neverthless the more I listened to "As Reasons Die", the more the music grew on me. I like how the band doesn't stick to one particular sound and manages to combine punk, goth, and synth-pop music to make a distinct sound of their own. I did like how they added female vocals to a few of their songs which they never did before. Although the first few tracks of the album didn't really impress me, the album got really good halfway through and the songs really started getting stuck into my head. "As Reasons Die" may not be perfect but it certainly is one of the better rock albums iout there today."
Mixed Feelings now

"As the years have past I have come to realize that this is Bella Morte worst release. I have tried to like it, but every time I put it on I dont really like it. Forever Grey and T For AN I are the only keepers. The rest of the album is filled with silly ballads, not the wonder epics that are on the flawless album "Where Shadows Lie". Get everything by Bella Morte but skip this one and go right to Songs For The Dead."
