""Songs for the Dead" is the latest release from Bella Morte, and the follow-up to their Death Rock EP. The albumn is an amazing collection of rocking punk tunes, delivered with a rawness and passion which old-school punk fans should love. There is also some excellent diversions of style, from the metal-esque "Final Words" to the jazzy, wonderful "The Devil's Eyes." Bella Morte is never afraid to play around with genres, and the results, as always, are spectacular. Lyrically, the albumn is concerned with death, horror, fear, sorrow, and, of course, zombies. Overall, "Songs for the Dead" is an excellent collection of gothic rock fused with punk, a showcase of the band's musical talents and Andy's gorgeous voice. Anyone who loves punk, goth, catchy tunes, and eating brains will love this cd."
