Product DescriptionThe Belle Game is a six-piece collective creating melodic noise, infectious energy, and engaging dark-pop. After spending a year amongst the gurgling noise of the Montreal music scene, The Belle Game returned to Vancouver, where they spun their influences into a dynamic live show, earning them appearances
alongside Gotye, Karkwa, and Said The Whale.
Their first EP, Inventing Letters, was welcomed with worldwide blog buzz as well as placements on Much Music s The Wedge. Their follow-up, Sleep to Grow, was crafted alongside famed Vancouver producer JC/DC (New Pornographers, Tegan & Sara, Destroyer). It boasted grand arrangements, swirling instrumentation, and the feeling of whimsy being torn at the seams.
Ritual Tradition Habit was produced by John Raham (Be Good Tanyas, Frazey Ford). The album flirts with new territory; a darker mood, intricate musicianship, gut-wrenching vocals,
and a bold reinterpretation of classic pop music.
