In some mysterious way Ben Folds instantly took me back to memories of growing up surrounded by endless culdesacs with music that doesn't sound anything like that from the 70's or 80's. Most of the song lyrics aren't even trying to invoke such emotions which makes it all the sweeter when they bubble up. While I've spent plenty of time lamenting a sheltered suburban childhood, well, it really wasn't so bad. This album is sure to bring back to mind a few of the good times."
