It Gets Better With Age

"I bought this album in 1979 when I was playing in a North Carolina band, The Newgrass Edition. I absolutely loved the things that Benny did with John Hartford. Lester Flatt did a killer version of SIX WHITE HORSES. The all star SUNNY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN still makes me want to sing along. Recently ran into Tom Britt, one of NC's premier banjo players (I destest the possibility of the existence of a word "banjoist") Tom was the banjo player in Newgrass Edition and during that period would frequently listen to TENNESSEE JUBILEE while visiting in my home. He informed me that he had recently purchased this CD based on his memory of the record all those years ago. He said that he liked it even better now.In this day and age of all star tributes, it would definitely be worthwhile to buy one of the first."
