Great recording, and Archiv is fine

"The Phase 4 recordings of Bernard Herrmann's film music came out in the '70s. Herrmann's music is emotional, original, and full of musical ideas. The sonic quality is spectacular; seemingly every instrument got its own mike. Get this CD, and the companion "Great Film Music" CD, and you've got a tiger by the tail.
Archiv is an established music seller. They sell regular CDs and also burned-to-order CDs of long-out-of-print recordings (the Herrmann ones were recorded 30 years ago). Last time I looked, they were offering 4,000 old titles that could be burned to order. In this digital age, if the re-pressings can be licensed, recordings never need go out of print."
