CD Reviews

Animals in the Music of the Middle Ages
J. Burton | 10/25/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

""La Reverdie has created a wonderful recording. This CD has the power of making us travel to Medieval times. The voices are perfect and the instruments play exquisitely. Track 3, a troubadour Marcabru's pastourelle is my favorite. It was the first time that I heard Marcabru's music performed with a rhythm so fine. The booklet is very beautiful and rich in information, too." (Marilia Amaral da Silveira)
