"Learned about this while searching for Diana Krall. Excellent debut recording. Very beautiful voice, nothing forced or phony; excellent selection of standards and some impressive originals. Acoustic, swinging accompaniment. This is my wife's favorite album, maybe mine too. Hope to hear more from her.

I love Eva Cassidy and Madeleine Peyroux. Beth McDonald is coming from a comparable place. Very real, very lovely."
