An outstanding repetoire of authentic Mexican-American music

"This is an outstanding and superb album ! It represents the best and most authentic rendition of true Mexican-American music. It blends the best of two cultures and it captures the true 'tejano' spirit as it existed from the 1940's thru the '70's. Such spirit is still alive in 1999, but no current Tejano artist captures the true character of this music as well as Beto Villa once did. This should be a collector's item for every 'afficionado' of Hispanic culture as we know it in the U.S."
