"I was very happy to find this CD of 25 Betty Everett tunes from her tenure with Vee Jay Records during the 1960's. I just wish her duets with Jerry Butler were included, but you can't have everything I guess. It's a shame that the late Betty is best known for her biggest hit, the girl group sounding "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)". Because this woman had more SOUL than a sock with a hole! I get goose bumps everytime I hear "Until You Were Gone." I also love her version of "You're No Good" which was a hit for Linda Ronstadt in the 70's. There are so many great tunes on this CD. I also like her take on "June Night", "Hound Dog", "I Don't Hurt Anymore", & the funky "Gettin' Mighty Crowded"."
