"Well, some of you may not know Beverley Knight, but she is the greatest British soul R&B songstress since... Sade! She is marvellous! She has published 4 albums already and she's still on top! "The B-Funk" is her first one. Of course it contains the classic dancefloor tune "Flavour Of the Ol' Skool" (don't resist, this joint is the bomb) and the delicious "Moving On Up (on the right side)" (one of my fav Bev's songs!), plus many other joints (14 in total including the wonderful "Mutual Feeling") that will blow u away! At ease singing ballads and uptempo songs, Beverley has one of the finest voice in today's music and her lyrics are always inspired! Somewhere between Aaliyah's "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number" and Mary J's "What's The 441?", this CD is a MUST HAVE! Of course you gotta own her other 3 albums LOL. Be ready to enter Beverley's world, the most popular UK soul singer! She's a diamond!"
