"If you hate Cash Money, then of course you'll hit the "NO" button, but to all who already know, this has to be one of the best Cash Money albums, if not the best. B.G. was on point with every rhyme he spit, Mannie's production on here was doper than it was on Juvy's 400 Degreez, and all of the guest stars were on fire. My favorite songs are "Cash Money is an Army" (which was a BET favorite), "Dog A" with Juvenile, "Hard Times", "Bling Bling" with Big Tymers and the Hot Boys, and my favorite, "Made Man" with Big Tymers, where Baby drops a very dope verse (I kid you not). It's a shame that B.G. left Cash Money before Juvy even did. And for the record, I don't live in some "nondescript Section 8" and I still like the album."

"This is the best Cash Money record EVER!!! Every beat on this cd is on fire. I dont know if CMR can every top this. Im from new orleans, and I've been down with cash money since the beginning. Cash Money has been around longer than NO Limit. Mannie Fresh has been dropping Fire tracks since he was 15, what yall know bout Gregory D, and Mannie Fresh. Yall probably dont know about Pimp Daddy and Miss Tee. B.G is the Franchise. This CD was better than 400 degrees. Even though that probably sold alot more records. In that song thuggn,, when B.G mentions Tier Rep, and Templeman, only a brother thats been locked down knows what hes talking bout. I feel ya BGeezy. Keep representing for the 504, ya dig."

"BG's Chopper City in the Ghetto is one of those Ca$h Money albums that can stand head to head to Juvenile's 400 Degreez in sales, production, vibe and many other catagories. This is one of the best Ca$h Money albums made. BG has a supereme story-telling skill while rhyming and brings vibe. The production of Manny Fresh was at his peak, the beats definitely keep your head banging. BG's rhyming skill is great, he can speed up the rhyme or slow it down anytimes within a song. "Bling Bling" is one of the commercial songs that brought Ca$h Money to national recognization, all Ca$h Money members appeared and in my opinion, they did not deliver well in that song but brought the vibe with the topics. The first couple songs are all either anthems or party hits, so they only brought vibe but not much depth. "Cash money is an army" is an example of the anthem songs where he claims that Cash Money is an army that doesnt collapse, some what like No Limit songs but more word play. "trigga play" also has a baggin beat and talks about the ghetto in N.O. and how BG can pull a trigger. As the album moves on to track 10 - end of album, commercial hits and phrases such as "bling bling" are no longer commonly used. The topics are only minorly about cars, ice, and rims. It tells story of the down south ghetto. This CD is definitely a must have if you like the down south style of rapping. If you have not heard any down south CDs, it won't be like Nas or Erick Sermon, but this will probably not disappoint you.Lyrics: B+
